I remember a time, Lost in our lives, Comfort and joy to eachother we used
Laughter and happiness was always there, It was a vision that we shared
Always and forever we should be, For future times and trials to be tested
And for all to see..

Such a simple time in retrospect, I held for you such respect
Feelings that I had long forgotten felt like rays of sunshine on my skin
You and I had a bond that was real, That no one could steal
I remember feeling like a little boy around you
I remember feeling trust and love from you
It all seemed so surreal, A new breath of life did you bring in

For what lay inside was an inner feeling that touched all that we hide
A way to see eachothers deepest thoughts,
A two way ride that held us together from eachothers pride
Twice a two way street, Me for you, Then you for me

A golden soul we did share amongst all that said theres nothing there
Inside our hearts at one point in our lives did we promise no compromise
For all the right reasons did we find eachother
In times that were filled with heartbreak on both sides
Yet we managed to see the other for the purest of feelings that lay deep inside

The long nights, and winding days did we talk about our lives
Shoulders to cry on, Ears to listen, Hearts for compassion
All the while did we promise, And swear to the end that never...
And no matter how our lives became, Truth and Lies aside
We would be Friends Forever.
