Alone in these smeared paintings of humanity
Faces in the crowd gazing back through my life
Sweat pouring down, choking my broken core
Start running for the door, just falling to the floor
In the shadows scraping on my knees...

Frozen staring out the window, mists clouding my world
Lost in the dark, the sun shining right beside me
Surrounded by friends, yet at times all alone
The road behind me stretches & strays...
